Adverse Weather Closure Information

It is always our aim to keep St Bernadette’s school open during adverse weather conditions.  However, in the event of a school closure, due to unsafe conditions, the following guidelines will be followed:

v  The Head Teacher will inform Governors/staff/parents/carers via text message

v  Up to date information will be posted on the school website

v  ‘Closure’ signs will be displayed at the back and front of school

v  The local radio station, Radio Wave will be notified – 01253 304965/650340
